With the ever competitive nature of the cattle business we investigated breeds that would give us a preferred position in the industry.
It didn’t take long to recognize the significance of the new breed to Australia of “Speckle Park” with all the positive attributes of significantly superior cattle.
Since that time Bunderra has moved to establish one of the largest Speckle Park studs in Australia.
At Bunderra we have invested in the best semen and flushed the most superior cows the breed and Canada have to offer. This enables us to offer progeny that will demonstrate the best characteristics of the breed here in Australia.
We offer ET pregnancies and calves that are second to none.

• SPECKLE PARK is a medium sized polled breed that provides a carcass that has a high dressed weight.
• SPECKLE PARK has established a reputation in Canada for high quality carcasses with marbling but without a thick layer of outer fat cover. Speckle Park cattle took top honors’ at the Calgary Stampede Steer Carcass Competition in 2006 . With a total of 43 entries from various breeds, a Speckle Park Carcass took top spot, with Speckle Park taking 3 of the top 4 placings. The breed has also won the “All Breed Steak Challenge” and the “Beef Quality Award” previously.
• SPECKLE PARK cattle calve easily and almost all Speckle Park cows and heifers calve unassisted. Calves are approximately 30-40 KGs at birth. Most newborns are up and sucking in minutes. Speckle Park calves are vigorous growers from birth.
• SPECKLE PARK cows are very maternal when it comes to caring for their young. They have good udders which provide ample supply of rich thick milk.
• SPECKLE PARK has a gentle and quiet disposition which makes them a pleasure to work with or halter train.
• SPECKLE PARK are hardy healthy and can withstand the harshest of cold winters and the heat of summer.
